Contract Grant Writer and Consulting Development Specialist
Welcome!
I offer hourly, six-month or year-long contracts for a grant writing package, which includes researching grant opportunities, writing a series of highly competitive grant proposals, participating in debriefs with foundations on rejected proposals and helping my clients build long-term relationships with foundations, following a successful proposal through follow up and close out reports. For the organizations that contract with me, I act as much more than a writer; I serve as a consultant to help ensure the long-term success of the grants program.
Who I Am
My Story
I have spent the last 10 years passionately working with, advocating for, and networking on behalf of under-served communities in Northern Nevada and the Sierras by dedicating my career to non-profit work. While working for these non-profit organizations I discovered that the greatest need was in capacity building. With so much time and energy belonging to an organizations mission, very little time is left for grant research and essential writing that can stabilize and grow non-profits. My mission is to allow non-profit organizations to continue focusing on their missions by providing them with the security of knowing that they will have the funding to continue to do it.
